Financial Literacy has been a very successful class in my experience. I have learned so many ways to be financially successful in life that I never would have discovered on my own!!! Keep it up, Mrs. Lemon-Kitchen! I hope that in the years to come this class will grow and students will learn to appreciate how hard you work to keep them educated in the real world.
this year i have learned a lot of things like how to write checks and balances. i have also learned how taxes work, how to budget, and how the stocks work. im glad that i had to take this class because it has made me ready for the life after high school. now i know i little bit about how to save my money and stuff too.
I Have learned a lot during my semester in the Financial Literacy Class. Learning things like how to save money and smart spending skills will really help me throughout life. Also learning smart buying skills will help me with vehicle and home purchases. Knowing these ways of saving will help me keep out of financial problems and keep me with enough money to survive in this economy.
I have learned a lot of important things in financial literacy. Things like taxes, debt, insurance, and even fraud. But I think the one that will impact my life the most will be debt. I know what to do if I'm ever in debt and also ways i can avoid it. Which i really hope to do. Or even ways I can build good credit for myself in safe and helpful ways.
In financial literacy i have learned how i can save my money and make the best out of it, i have learned what kind of car i can buy that will save me money and help me get where i need to be, i have also learned how to get good credit so i can get loans and it can help me have a good credit score, i have learned that i need to have a good bank account so that i can save my money and have enough to live off so i will never go bankrupt.
I have learned a lot in this class.
i have learned about savings, budgeting and credit which were things i needed to learn more about. i think they will help me in the future know how to keep track of my money and expenses, and stay financially stable. i have also learned about comparisons in buying things. that will help big time in the future so i will get my moneys worth for that product and save at the same time!
I've learned a lot about careers, buying a house, purchasing cars, and good credit. Out of these things, I think the biggest help to me in the future will be the knowledge I now have about buying a house. It will have a big impact because I've learned things I didn't know previous of this course. For example, about having good credit, and what kind of home loans are the right choice. I will definitely keep all my information I've gathered about buying houses, and many other useful things I've attained. This class was well worth the time. It prepares you for the real world.
I have learned what a 401k is and why it is important to put money away for retirement. I have learned how to save money when buying food and how to budget my money so I can afford the things that I need. I have learned how to balance a check book so that I don't overspend.
I've learned a lot about how to choose my career and what i want to do in the future. How i want to spend my life doing it. How to save money in a lot of ways. How to save money on buying a house. Buying a car. The advantages and disadvantages on getting a new or old house and car.
I learned about check books and how to use it the right way. How to use credit cards. So i dont go over my amount of money.
I think that the most important thing that i have learned in financial literacy is the importance of budgeting and keeping track of where your money goes. I have never really payed attention to any of that before and now that i have a job and money of my own it's been useful. I've learned to keep my receipts and check my balance often on the internet. I am also more wise about impulse shopping. I rarely buy something unless I need it now. I don't grab something to eat after work, I go home and eat food there. Just little things like that have helped me save a lot of money.
I have learned many things in the financial literacy class. The 4 most important things that i have learn are probably budgeting, checking, how to protect my identity, and taxes. Budgeting will help me with my future, in the college world and also checking will help me manage my money correctly. My identity is what i have in this world and i need to protect that at all costs, so that my future won't be screwed up. Taxes have always been a wonder to me and these last weeks we have learned about many different taxes, tax breaks, and forms this will help when i am out on my own to know all this stuff!
I have learned that budgeting is more important than many people believe. Especially after seeing what has been going on in our economy. A good budget to plan out at least the basic things that you need to. I've also learned that fraud is actually become more frequent through the internet as well. Another thing that I've learned is that saving money (even if it is just a little) actually helps out more than you'd think it would. I've also learned that it is important to know how to do things like buy a good car and I've learned the difference between a checking account and a savings account.
In financial literacy i have learned how to set up a budget, purchase a house, buy a car, and get through taxes. First setting a budget that will effectively cover all expenses with enough money left over to use for emergencies or other needs. Second to buy a house that suits your needs but is not too big or pricey. Third, to buy a car by doing research to know what types of cars are reliable. Finally taxes taxes are an important thing to know about because they are very complicated and can make or break you. I feel that i have been armed with the knowledge of how to push through these problems and still come out on top. Tanks to financial literacy.
